Position Description

We are seeking a CRNA to join our anesthesia team for an inpatient role at our critical access hospital in Buckhannon, WV, dedicated to delivering quality healthcare to our rural community.


Schedule:


  • Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
  • 4 weeks on and 1 week off
    • Weeks off include 12/8-12/14
  • No initial on-call duties; shared weekend call rotation after acclimation


Practice Setting:


  • Volume of approximately 300 surgeries per month
  • Team includes 5 other CRNAs (4 full-time, 1 part-time)
    • Very quick credentialing timeframe


Qualifications:


  • Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
  • BLS and DEA certifications required
  • Comfortability with working in a rural setting


Cases & Procedures:


  • Provide anesthesia care for a variety of surgical procedures, including Standard General Surgery (the majority is outpatient)
    • Some Robotic, Endo, Podiatry, OBGYN with a low c-section rate
  • Cataracts one day a week, the only cardiac is TEEs and Cardioversions
  • Growing Regional anesthesia numbers, including peripheral/truncal blocks, spinal, and epidurals
